Abstract: This roundtable seeks to provide graduate students with an opportunity to explore different career options outside of academia. Participants will include experts working in academic research, and the public sector, including in the areas of public policy and public research. In this way, it seeks to fill the gap in visibility on career options for graduate students outside of academia. In so doing, the roundtable also aims to help connect the academic and policy sectors within Canada in the defence and security space.

Participants:
Colleen Bell (University of Saskatchewan)
Sara Greco (Women in International Security-Canada | Department of National Defence)
Isabelle Côté (Memorial University)
Srjan Vucetic (University of Ottawa)
